Where ever I am...

Now I know some of you are going to read the title and say "They look alot alike, how could it be that difficult?". Well What Im trying to do, is use SL (Steel Legion) models, and other models bits to create a closer resemblence to the DKK. Like for instance, how the DKK army uses wheels on their HW team's weapons...I like that idea, it relates to alot like WWI weapons, so Im going to use a fantasy Dogs of War model, to get the tires, which are 12 spoke wooden wheels since I obviously cant buy just the "metal" wheels from FW. And say for instance the Death Riders of DKK, Id have to do some splicing to get the horses to resemble the DKK steeds by probably using some fantasy horses...but thats if I use Death Riders to begin with. See where this is going? Now, obviously some of you may know that Im in Iraq at the moment, and obviously, model building is almost impossible, so I started this thread to get some ideas from the creative minds of people like yourself...now are there any tips anyone would like to share, or have any ideas on what I could use, to make SL more like DKK?

When was it cool to not be a Marine?

Don't buy the "wooden" plastic wheels. There used to be "metallic" plastic wheels for the Ork support weapons, Kannons and such. IIRC they are still available, for the Zzapp Gun and Lobba models.

That is, if you want metallic wheels rather than wooden ones...

The ONLY problem with getting those wheels, which are perfect by the way, is that they dont sell them individually....The wheels I found and named off can be bought by them selves with out buying the whole model. Unless you know how I can get those wheels individually...Id have to stick to my wooden circles...

Or you could just go here.....

and get your models. Go to the bottom of the page and they have all of your heavy weapons with the wheel carriages.
