I tried searching this forum and doing a google search but didn't have much success at finding articles on how to build one. Anyone have a link?

Also is GW or forgeworld planning on making a model for this?

Thanx

According to the photos in the latest WD, the biker set comes with a Nob body - should be easy enough to make it a warboss.

easy to put a nob on a bike, sure, but for a warboss, it would be nice to do something a bit more special. For mine, I'm very tempted to convert a wartrakk (which already has a bike-like front) into a war-trike - should look impressively bigger than a normal bike.

This works very well, especially if you replace both tracks with a wheel each and shorten the (former) track guards. A Snotling/Grot can be used as a gunner for swivel mounted twin linked Big Shootaz.

Haven't seen the man around Dakka in quite some time, but his work deserves a repost ...

Gorfrag's Biker Boss (and again)

For more of Gorfrag's orks check his pbase account.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

I am doing ok.

You need:

Standard ork warboss metal model.
Boar from orc warboss plastic set.
Power klaw

The boar has built on legs. Dont bother with a standard boar, you need the warbosses boar only that is big enough.

The built on legs are very similar to those on the metal ork warboss so cut the ork warboss in half at the waist and add him to the boar.

Next replace the left arm (with big choppa or attack squig) with a power klaw.

Add a slugga in a holster to the ork's belt.

Thats it. You get
Ork warboss with
power klaw
twin linked shoota (counts as dakkagun)
shoota on belt (to clearly justify the +1A in RAW)
Large boar (counts as bike and 'attack pig')

After that you can convert the boar into a cyboar. This entails removing the hind legs and replacing them with a monowheel.
Add exhausts to taste.

Now your cyboar gives the model the cybork ability.

One ork warboss on 'bike'.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

This isn't really a tip, more some inspiration/intimidation:

Paul Carrick (AKA Nightserpent)'s first place single model from GW Conflict Boston 04:

Russ Wakelin has a really good conversion of a Biker Nob with Fist (actually a wrecking-ball/fist type attachment), but I can't seem to find any photos of it online right now.
