Okay, I'm new to 40k, So this is my first little Army list, and I wanted some oppinions on it.

Pk, T-L shoota, Warbike, Eavy Armour, Cybork Body, Bosspole

5 Lootas

4 Nob Bikers
PK's, T-L Shoota's, 'Eavy Armour, Bosspoles

well welcome to playing 40k!

as an ork player myself, I can tell you that orks need masses of boyz to really be effective. also you can save some points in a few places.

for your warboss, you don't need the T-L shoota.. it only takes away 1 attack in assault since you'll fire the bikes guns usually (and they're better) put the points into an attack squig.

the lootas.. if you're going to play them (and why not) you need to use a squad of 12-15 since they have low LD and you cannot take a nob w/ bosspole to shore up their morale.

regular bikes just aren't worth it.. nob bikers maybe but in such a small points total I wouldn't bother.

I'm a fan of ard boyz in truck personally, but for their cost you can almost buy 2 squads.

one thing about trukks. if you're going to run them you need 3-4 or their anti tank will make short work of them. much better for your long term gaming to make yourself 2 mobs of 30 shoota boyz then start building trukks.

also.. consider heavily getting yourself a mob of 20 stormboyz. they are really just that good.

Note that you never need 'eavy armour on a model riding a bike. The bike itself gives you an improved armour save.

The Warboss doesn't need a bosspole. He should be on his own, not in a unit, and all the untis have bosspoles anyway. What this means is that he's not going to be taking morale checks unless he's losing combat, and if he's losing combat, he's probably dead! The Nob bikers don't all need bosspoles either. One for the whole unit is enough. Having more gives no benefit.
