could you guys answer a query of mine -Does the Burna Lootaz pack come with enough to make 5 lootas instead of 4 lootas and a mek?
I'm gonna be facing 'nids quite a lot-and the mek wouldnt be very useful....
The website says "4 lootas/burnaz and one mek"-but does the Mek come as an upgrade for the loota or a seperate model

4 burnas, 4 deffguns and a single big shoota, rokkit launcha and kustom megablasta.

but I suppose lootas are relativly easy to buidl yourself

yeah, loota weapons are very easy to convert, either from your bitz box or even out of leftover bits form the burnas/lootas box - the sprues are great for converters

It's also worth noting, if you are unaware already, that the only thing stopping you from building 4 Lootas AND 4 Burnas from the box set is not having 4 more sets of torsos and legs. Buy yourself some from BWBits, and you've got 8 Orks for the price of 4. This, in my opinion, adds a lot of value to this otherwise overpriced box set.

quite right, DaBoss - in fact I'd buy the burnas/lootas even if I dodn't want burnas or lootas in my army. Both types of weapons can be converted into bog shootas or rokkits (or even flashgit weapons or other weirdness) without much trouble

Thanks an absolute ton guys-i have changed my order from 7 packs of lootas/burnaz to 4 packs and 2 more packs of boyz-a total saving of RRP £12£

How easy is it to convert-do the Lootas/burnaz packs essensially just come with Ork Boyz Legs and Torsos?

they have different legs, but the body have the same size, so converting is no problem...

I wonder if GW actually knows this...
