Let me know what you think. I think it might do pretty well as it does have an AV14 and AV13 vehicle in 1000 points...
Sammael - Landspeeder - 205 pts
6 - Ravenwing Bike Squad - 270 pts
2 x Melta Guns, Powerfist, Apothecary
1 - Attack Bike - 50 pts
Multi-Melta
3 - Ravenwing Bike Squad - 165
2 x Melta Guns, Powerfist
1 - Attack Bike - 50 pts
Multi-Melta
1 - Ravenwing Landspeeder Tornado - 100 pts
Assault Cannon, Heavy Bolter
1 - Ravenwing Landspeeder - 65 pts
Multi-Melta
1 - Predator Destructor - 95
Total: 1,000 pts.

Hmm, I'm a bit leery of anything with so few boots on the ground. You've only got so few wounds that a few lucky rolls on the enemy's part could mess you up something fierce.
In particular, I'm wondering how you would deal with a gunline. Space Marines in terrain firing heavy weapons with a counterattack assault squad behind is a pretty common thing to run into, but I think it would ruin your day..
For your bikes to make their points back they either need to blow up 2 vehicles, or win 2 fights. A powerfist is strong, but they are still going to enter a suicide pact with any enemy infantry they lock to who have a fist of their own.
On the other hand, you'll have a good chance to set up the pain in Escalation games, with melta-traps waiting for enemy vehicles no matter where they come on. You can also get first turn charges on any unprotected shooting elements of enemy forces with your scouting fisters.
All told I'm dubious. Against very vehicle enemy's you have a good chance, but I think that infantry sloggers will beat you handily, just not enough wounds/ability to kill infantry in cover.

All in all, fact is that Warhammer 40K has never been as balanced as it is now, and codex releases have never been as interesting as they are now (new units and vehicles and tons of new special rules/strategies each release -- not just the same old crap with a few changes in statlines and points costs).

Yeah, I am worried about infantry heavy armies but fortunately most of the players in our area play vehicle heavy armies so we'll see.
