my gaming group is not too big on using SC because they just become a "i win!" button and take away from tactics.
but that may change. being that half of the 40k players in my group play nidzilla lists,i am going to start taking SC(kaptain badruck) to counter those lists. i have been thinkin some of those fex/tyrant builds can be considered SC quality and makes up the fact that nids do not have SC. so kommunity, which SC would you use against nidzilla or nids in general?

Karandas and Jain Zar immediately come to mind. But, Eldrad always seems to win our Special Character bashes. I personally do not think most special characters are worth their points but Eldrad is probably the best exception to that.

What army do you have?
I like Abbadon because he is an army of 1. He has a lot of attacks at strength 8 and 6int. A 2+/4+ save with FNP etc.
Y'reil is good too...he goes before genestealers, can wound on a 2+. And if he gets swarmed, he can clear them out with the eye.

hmm... the warp 'ead character looks like a good buy, but you wont' get to use his curse vs nids.
Honestly the rest of the character look a little lackluster to me. None of them would be great vs mobs of stealers or gaunts. The Kommando character could tie up (but not kill) a gunfex.
Let you boys handle the the small critters. If you having carnie/tyrant trouble you might think about a biker boss.

Wazdakka and Ghazghull are both very very good.
The others are fine, but are more 'I want to use that in my army' than 'He's bad'.

Yeah, Eldrad and an Avatar in combination with Harlies can get the job nicely done.
