Been Around the Block

Just wanted to say hello. I used to browse the old site quite often a few years ago but never really got around to post, chalk that up to a bad internet connection. I've been in the hobby on and off since the 2nd edition of 40k came out. My first army was Space Wolves then I got in to Sisters of Battle for the past three years or so. Its only really been in the last two years that I've done a lot of playing and painting (working at GW in New York for a bit helped with that). I've found a bit of a groove with making terrain recently and have some pictures up on my blog, its down in the sig line. Let me know what you all think.

Welcome to dakka! What did you use for the base on your cities of death terrain? (this one: http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii275/Afrikprophet/Marble1/MAR1.jpg )

trade secret
actually I used the plastic sheets from the new modular movement tray set. a bit of a pain to cut with an exacto knife at first but pretty easy to snap off and break in to quarters.
