My buddy in American Fork was just asking me the same thing.

There is 2 weeks between LA Gamesday and the Las Vegas GT. I might travel on up there an do some camping in Bryce or Zions, and then head on up to SLC the weekend between the two events and take care of you and Selek.

Also I met a guy at an RTT in Orlando last month who use to work at Hauster Hobbies.

I will probably go to the Broadside Bash, but I want to make sure that the number of attendees increases before I shell out my cash.

But don't you have a greater chance of winning more cool if less people show up?

Of course, that assumes that material gain, as opposed to glory or renown, is your primary interest.

The player's resulting psychic death scream erased common sense from the minds of 40k players everywhere. " - Ozymandias

All true, however, there are only 10 players registered currently for the 40K event and I do not want to play 5 rounds in 2 days with a pool of 11 players.

Chris, are you playing in the WFB side of the Bash?

Hah. Spring is Rugby season. If we have a bye it sounds like fun, but I have my doubts. In fact, I'll check right now.

Nope. We've got U of A on Sunday the 17th. Of course, if I suffer a season-ending injury before then, I promise I'll go.

But after 6 years of competitive contact sports, I've yet to suffer an injury worse than spraining my elbow. On the way to practice. Falling down some stairs.

Cool, I can understand you choosing rugby over WFB. Good luck against U of A. Just remember that while the game is important, it is the drinking afterwards that is the real objective of any good rugby game.

Particularly when you get someone to shoot the boot.

The way I see it, Darrian, is that I can wargame for a long time. The chance to play collegiate rugby is fleeting.
