Given how large of an area is encompassed by "SoCal", what particular sub-region/cities/stores are you based around?

And yea' Allways Gamming is still there, funny... the old owner Brad has a Good sized Army. (who would have ever guessed) he has Space Marines. And we game at his house too. small world we have.

I'd be up to meeting with folk to get some games in (the bbq and beer sounds mighty appealing).

I started 40k at that store in Chatsworth about 15 years or so ago.

My buddy and I use to drive out to play some Space Hulk with the owner Ralph (he also owned the Game Zone in Pasadena at the time). I did not like the mini's that we were using, and I really liked the Space Wolf minis, so I started collecting them. Then I ended up starting a Space Wolf 40k army.

And the rest is history.

Its a bit of a drive for me since I'm comming from Long Beach, but if there's something interesting going on, I might be persuaded to join in. So I guess it boils down to the usual questions...

What?
Where?
When?

Wow! Phoenix might make the trip? Phoenix and I have spoken many times on Dakka but have never met in person. I would love to see how he runs his Eldar army. Maybe I will bring mine and get it critiqued.

Game Zone (Yea that was the name before Allways gamming took over, I remember a Tall dude allways working there, that store and Last Grenadier on Reseda was my 2 places to go for Mini's.

As for:

- What? looks like 40k. and Fantasy.

- When? Trying to get Next weekend going. if not, then the 19th. (I will keep you informed.)

Now to Fig. who has what armys? was thinking to Do " Good .v. Bad. " for 40k. We could put (2) 8X4's together, and come up with a 16 X 4 Table, should be enough room for total Chaos!! maybe 2000Pts. each.

We arn't rule Nazi's we play for fun, so someone might say... can i do this, then you say O.K. then i'll do that.


Till then, get to Painting and Glueing, i still got to finish my Warbuggy's.

It is even a futhur drive for me since I live in Barstow but that's what I get for moving out to the middle of no where.

I can't do Saturday 12th due to the Game Empire 40K RTT. You guys should really tryto make it out for the RTT, it is a blast.
