Is it never, or is there a special rule someplace I don't know about?

Anyone know? I need to know so I don't make a fool of myself arguing about it here on Dakka.

Thanks!

I havn't seen a rule that overrides the blight grenades. tau have the exact same thing, so i would also really like to know if there is a way around this....

I think you get charge bonuses, just not extra attacks for charging. I don't have my codex with me, but I think furious assaulters get their statline boost, just no extra attacks.

All in all, fact is that Warhammer 40K has never been as balanced as it is now, and codex releases have never been as interesting as they are now (new units and vehicles and tons of new special rules/strategies each release -- not just the same old crap with a few changes in statlines and points costs).

I should have said you lose any extra attacks when you charge. If the charging model had furious charge then they would still get +1S/+1I that turn.

Sorry for any confusion.

K that's what I figured. Skills yes, attacks no. Like Tau Emp Grenades.

Thanks!

Well I kind of moved near Toronto, actually.

Lazy devil's advocate, Blood Claws get +2 attacks do they get +1 or +0 vs tau grenades and blight grenades.

ditto anything that gets +d3 attacks on the charge.

If they are bonus attacks for charging then I'd say you lose them all no matter how many.

What is the exact wording on the blight grenades?

Not entirely sure what you're asking. Only carbine shots are pinning, so roll separate dice for the carbines in the unit.

Blight grenade rules wording is: These are defensive grenades, which means that enemy units do not gain their bonus attacks for charging if they are assulting a unit of Plague Marines.

Deamon weapons as I understand it add D6 (sometimes more) to the models Close combat attacks reguardless of if you charge or not. Similar to Arco Flagelents.

So you still get your base attacks and the D6 extra attacks even if you assult a unit with blight or Photon grenades. You just dont get the extra attack that you would normaly have gotten for the charge.

Extra attacks gained due to special abilitys are unchanged. Just the +1 for the charge is lost.
