Looks very cool. What scale is it in, cause I would think that would make quite a cool assassin, with a C'Tan weapon.

"Yeah, the GX-72 power armour has the best servo motors in the business. Why, you can even balance this spinning plate on the end of a broomstick, no sweat!"

The staff looks a bit silly to me but the rest is nice. If that's your company's first offering, then I can foresee great things for you.

Actually I thought the staff was kind of cool. *shrug* I also like how the character is not screaming/attacking/flying through the air or whatever. They're standing around loking bada**. I would love to paint that figure. But yeah, what IS the game about?

Does look good, curious what other models / rules you've got on the way.

And just to check, that is a chick, right? Maybe it's telling that without OTT female characteristics sculpted on in addition to (IMO nicely-sized) breast armor I can't be 100% sure

Have you given http://tabletopgamingnews.com/ an official press release for the game? I track i for all my outside GW needs (you can track GW, too, but there's so much more out there than that)

Scale is supposed to be 28mm to fit size of GW, PP. 2008 and 2009 will see 25 figures each.
I only commissioned 1 figure until scale can be established. Would hate to get 10 figures back to realize they are too small/big.
This figure is female; she will be a solo type within a faction. Ideal behind her is she is a saboteur; her drone detaches and feeds enemy locations and grants a bonus of some sort to faction.
3 more figures in this armor are in the works all armed different; Goal is 3 greens a month.

The game is not going to be released until Christmas 2010 with debut at Gen-con 2010 at earliest. Figures will be released as they are able to be molded in runs of 100 or so.
I want to have 2 full years of play testing before going public. If I cant do this the right way and be on same visual level as the compition then I wont do it.
Here is an angled shot.

I don't like the pose. This leaning in one direction looks like she needs the staff not falling in the direction. Well in the other way she would look like the staff. Nothing I would buy but unique in its appaerance.

Well, I've heard enough. I'd like to go ahead and order the game right now.

Seriously though, beautiful sculpt. I'm eagerly anticipating the rules that accompany it.

Somewhere in south-central England.

IMHO for a female she needs slightly wider hips and more crotch gap than crotch bulge. Mind you, I am only looking at the pics.

The overall look reminds me of Infinity, which is not a bad thing.

I also don't like the umbrella on the staff. It conflicts with the trident spearpoints.

However, I would buy and convert.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Really cool looking. I like the pose, helmet, cloak, right hand, chest armor, good stuff.

I agree that the legs need a little work to be more femme. Little more hip and some curve on the thigh.

I like the concept of the drone on the staff too, just think it might need a block of sensors somewhere, maybe some more mechanical parts to make it look more drone-ey and less umbrella.

I recieved green in mail today and it took photos of it next to other minis to give a true sence of scale.
It will turn some off but the whole line will be to this standard for anatomy. The helmet might get a redo/touchup to be a little more detailed like art ( mainly the rear)
future I will keep in mind hippier females. the males will be bulkier and 1-2mm taller than this model (just a hair) The knife placement makes hips seem smaller than in person (see wip shot below)
One of my goals is to be to sci-fi minis what reaper is to fantasy (I just want better gaming rules)

Well, I like it, as is.
I CAN see what some are saying about the hips... a little more fullness would look better (PLEASE, though... don't overdo the hips).

A plead on "Crotch gap."
PLEASE, Just say, "No."

Gael is a VERY talented sculptor... and a great guy or gal. I think Gael is a guy? I sent him a message a while back on CMON complimenting a piece of his. he was very down to earth and I recall that we had a nice, extended, conversation about minis & sculpting in general. There were MINOR communication issues, since English is NOT his first language, but he was a really goo guy.

If he's doing your sculpting for you, you're going to have some REALLY nice stuff.

What are you doing about playtesters?

Eric

I disagree on the hips- for this fig, in this pose, it's perfect. Not every woman (well, athletic woman in armor) has serious hips, and hers are elaning into the cape- so they would be less noticeable, of course.

And I second the motion against crotch gap.

Nice work! Looks like it will be a bit bigger than GW, which will sort of spoil the crossover market (much like people don't use Confrontation etc. because they're just a wee too big, which is a shame). But they'll fit in with PP really nicely.

And if your group uses biggerized Marines (the way they should be!!), then it'll work dandy.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!
