I've been thinking about putting together a mechanized DW for 1700 point games. I lot of the stuff I read is more lists for either 1500 or 1850 points. Here is what I would have as a base:

Belial with LC
3 x DWT each with AC (likely with a pair of LC in each squad, maybe a sprinkling of SS/TH in too)
Land Raider
Land Raider Crusader

I have the two LRs already, which is why I'm not running 2 LRCs. This leaves me with 335 points left. What else should I be including? I've never played an army like this before, so I am not sure what else I would want to round it out as an all comers list. What I figured would be options:

A. Librarian with Combi-Plasma or Chaplain
B. Vindicator
C. Predator Destructor
D. Dread - not sure what weapons load-out, base perhaps
E. Upgrades to the squads: Apothecary, Banner, Chainfists.

I was also wondering if I should have one Cyclone Missle Launcher in there in case there are situations where you don't want to use DW Assault?

Any help here would be great, I'm itching to order the termies.

I'd opt for a fully deep-striking and drop-podded army with 2 Dreads in drop pods, led by Belial. Land Raiders are sometimes easier to destroy than one thinks.

I would take a Ven Dread with AC/HF and a Predator Annihilator w/ Heavy Bolter Sponsoons (Makes more sense than the Destructor, and gives it 2 roles Anti Tank or Anti Infantry). That should come in close to 335 points.
