Subject: Weird Boy Chracter Curse Question?

Please forgive me if I have the name wrong as I don't have the codex around. I believe it's Zogwart?
My question is how you think his curse ability would work on a character such as the Master of the Ravenwing? If I'm not mistaken he's in a Landspeeder, but counts as an IC? Just wondering what you guys think as I may be playing a game soon with a fellow using this model.
Thanks!

Hmmm... Good one. I would assume since it's an independent character that it could be turned into a Squiggly. The question is, does the MotR have a WS? If it does, then I would say that it can be changed. JMHO.

If the Master of the Ravenwing is an Independent Character, yes. If not, no.

Thats true. The power doesn't make any reservations about what type of Independent character it can target. The only requirement is that it is one.
So dreadnaughts, speeders, bikers, jumpackers, terminators, all just become little tiny squigs if they have Independent Character in their unit description.
Thats one hell of a curse.

Check the entry in the DA codex again. The MotRW is NOT an I.C. (Only time this is a benefit for him).

Pfft, yah - it'd be a bit too good if the MotRW was an AV14 speeder AND you can't shoot him cause he's not the closest model...

Make sure you check these things though. Daemon Princes, for example, aren't Independent Characters. Neither is the Eldar Avatar. Yet the C'tan are.

For now. I'm sure in the new codex they'll go the way of the Avatar and no longer be an IC.
As for vehicle ICs I can only think of Absrubel (sp?) Vect for DE although there are probably more I can't think of.

He's also a scoring unit thanks to it. Which surprised me the first time I went up against the jetbike version in a tournament.
