Hello guys! Have been here a while and now i think that is time to tell something about me. 11 yeasr old, like heavy/rock music ( Manowar, Lordi, Iron maiden and of course The hurriganes!) WH and WH40k i have play about 2 and half year, all just painting. Great threads here, and people seems very nice. Hope i become great painter, like Migsula and Chorno .

Welcome to dakka! How prevalent is wargaming in finland? I know there is a GW in Helsinki but are there many people who are into it outside of the capital?

I would say not to worry about your english, its better than what some people over here in the states can speak. You should post some of your work so we can see how good your paining has progressed, I know mine has gotten alot better over the years, just started to do washes recently. Anyways welcome to the forum and we look forward to seeing your work.

Legoburner: First guestion i can't answer, because i haven't play ever. Well, even that Helsinki is the capital, there's also many other place, where live lots of people. I live in Aura, but this is small ''town'' ( least 3000 people ). Thanks for asking

FWIW, there does seem to be quite a lot of wargamers (and especially players of GW games) in Finland. Some smaller cities have a thiriving gamer community in addition to Helsinki.

I'd like to travel to Finland someday. I hear the outdoors activities are really good there. Hunting, fishing, etc.
