I just hope this points to Namco being able to make a successor to the Star Wars fighting game that was on the PS1. It's been far too long without one.
I was talking to a few others and one idea that was floated was that eventually the other characters would be available as downloads. For a price of course.

I don't play consoles. When I heard that athsmatic wheeze though, I almost wet myself.
This would be fun to play drunk.

Chowderhead - God no. If I said Pirates Honor, I would have had to kill him whether he won or lost.
I give it 1.5 thumbs down. Soul caliber has been a kind of meh game for the most part. Once you get players who are good, its basicaly whoever hits first wins as they juggle you out of the arena. Adding in star wars characters just seems silly.

Threads should be like skirts: long enough to cover what's important but short enough to keep it interesting.
Giant, highly-animated boobs AND yoda in the same game!? I have been a fan of soul caliber since the dreamcast, and am looking forward to this version. Button mashers can make more progress than some of the other fighting games, but I enjoy learning the exact moves and trying to react based on their initial stance and motions. The juggling out of ring can get annoying but it just makes it more satisfying when you preempt them, block them and counter them properly.
Check out our new, fully plastic tabletop wargame - Maelstrom's Edge, made by Dakka!
I also enjoy Soul Caliber, and thought Spawn being in the last version was quite cool.
Darth and Yoda should be good fun, and I do hope that you can download the missing one to your fav console so that you can have the obligatory Yoda vs Darth fight.
