I would probably give the scouts some plasma since you have the points to play with, replace atleast 2 of the bolt pistols with plasma pistols since you seem to be going heavy on the melta, might as well add them in. As far as swapping for a rune priest, that depends on how much close combat you plan on since for me the only unit I put him with his blood claws on attack bikes so I can get them go to first. I would say it would all come down to personal preference with that. Or another thing is that you could give the rest of your Grey Hunters bolters instead of bolt pistols. Otherwise it looks like a good overall list, give us a battle report sometime. Good luck and happy hunting

I'm thinking I'd put battle leaders on bikes so they're a threat at least.

I'd drop all the tornados but my opinion is that they are undesirable in a drop pod list. I'd rather see a single dread with a heavy flamer/asscan, and the other 80pts used somewhere else.

Maybe just buy two dreads with flamers/asscans in pods instead of the extra points and tornados.

SW dreads in pods....I can only get 1 more.

I could do bikes...with dogs?

#1. Give your Ven. Dread a Heavy Flamer. Since it will be drop podding right next to a unit, that flamer will do a lot of damage.
#2. Give your Scouts a Wolf Guard with a Thunder Hammer. That way the squad will be both anti-armor, and anti-infantry.
#3. Give your Grey Hunters Bolters. The way they are configured now, they will either shoot a few pistols at a unit, or drop down and sit there for a turn doing nothing except take one pot shot at a vehicle (and anyone who knows what they are doing will screen their vehicles with infantry so you can't get within 12"). If you give them Bolters, you can rapid fire the turn you come down, and it lets you take advantage of True Grit.

Oh sorry all the GH should have bolters, just an AB thing plus my laziness to click it all. They're all modeled with them anyway. "No no those are the bolt pistols from RT days!" lol

I figured I'd 'detach' the leaders from the squads they drop with so they can shoot different targets.

Hide the LS until I start dropping on turn 2. Even half this army is almost my whole army in effectiveness compared to my current Legion of the Damned.
