I don't understand your list.

Do you have five units of 10 spider riders, each with champion & musician? Or do you have ten units of 5 spider riders, each with champion and musician? Either way, you are above 1000 points.

Apart from that, I think an all-fast cav list can be a tough nut in low-points games. You will probably also have more magic than the average opponent. Your low Ld will be a problem- hence Horn of Urgok. I'd say you've got a pretty good list.

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

that list could do pretty well I think, you just can't rely on any single unit to win much. you'd have to flank/rear everything

SM- Lets roll to see who goes first
Nob- Urgh...ok, I got a 6
SM- Oops, looks like I got an 8, so I go first
Nob- You got a 8 on a 6 sided die?
SM- Um, yep.
Nob- Space marines.....

i think its a cool idea, but according to my limtied knowledge, it would be hard to use, i feel like the learning curve would be ridiculous

I think it wouldn't hurt to have a couple heavy hitters in there. 2 wolf chariots fit the fluff and speedy gobbo theme, could model the wolves as spiders (minus the poison, nat'). And 5 spiders = 1 puppy chariot, depending on how geared the spiders are and how wolfed & gobbed up the chariots are.
