Just wondering how this works. When both models strike last, who actually strikes last? d6?

As with ASF (always strike first), the guys with better initiative go first. If same, the side who won previous combat goes first. If that cannot be applied, roll d6.

That's probably a pretty good house rule, though I can't find anything in the rules that says that.

Still, the text of the pendent seems pretty clear to me:

"Any enemy models in base contact with the bearer of the Amber Pendant automatically strike last - even if they charged or have an ability that would normally strike first."

Wielding a Great Weapon is a similar general rule (like charging), which should be overidden by a more specific special rule (like the Pendant).
