Wanted to just see what we Dakkaites are playing:

PC - Bioshock (bought with x-mas gift card) and when in the mood or need to laugh, Portal

PC Multiplayer - CoD4:MW (mmmm... Mulitplayer crack)

Wii - Toss up between LEGO Star Wars:Complete Saga and Mario Galaxy

PS2 - Tomb Raider Legend

For my PC, I have waiting for my attention: World in Conflict, Warhammer: Mark of Chaos (got for free, I know it's bad) and C&C3.

What are you playing?

I think I'm going to start a charity for the terminally stupid. You can be our spokes person. -- H.B.M.C.

Playing Guitar Hero III on the Wii.

I just beat Crysis on the PC. It started off strong, but the last third or so of it was incredibly disappointing and featured some of the worst design decisions I've seen in the 2000's. I also recently beat Call of Duty 4 which was quite good - it didn't shine as much as Crysis at the high points, but it's low points didn't reach the same level of suck, so it balances out.

I'm considering reinstalling Bioshock next, or finally getting around to playing Resident Evil 4 on the Wii.

recently gave up on WoW ... again. I think I'm finally done with it, but I wouldn't pay $20 a month for any other game.

playing Starcraft and Galaxy hard core, I have a guy in Oblivion and I've been fooling around with an old RPG.

WOW. Bleedin' WOW. I used to point my finger at my "WOW Zombie' mates, and their complete lack of-and I'm being serious here-embarrassment, when they refer to the world we live in as the 'RW' or 'Real World' to you and me. Now I play every night when I get home from work. Sad. The copy of BF2142 I treated myself for Christmas has been played once on-line. Once.
Oh, BTW, my girl bought me the copy of WOW. She is still regretting it, alonside the plethora of mini's I have to do.

*sigh* May I be infused with the Mighty Emporers' Spirit, and get busy, in the RW. lol

Let's see:

PS3: I might buy Uncharted or Folklore, any suggestions??

360: Just finished Bioshock and I have started Mass Effect. Sadly I haven't even touched my copy of The Orange Box?

Wii: I mainly use it for old school gaming, last thing I played was some 4 player Wii Sports

PC: Urban Terror with some of my friends. Good ol school FPS. Luckily I have managed to hold off the temptation of going back to WOW!

Thanks,
Chappy P!

Uncharted is made by the company Naughty Dog, I think, and it is about a descendant of Sir Frances Drake hunting some for of treasure...It is a cross between a third person shooter with some platforming elements.

Folklore is an action RPG, it's very weird to explain, but you play between 2 different characters and when you destroy an enemy you can harvest them for abilities and powers. I played the demo and it seemed rather cool.

Plus I tend to play my 360 more out of my 3 (4 if you count PC) systems I have. PS3 really needs more apps, I can hardly wait for Metal Gear solid 4!

Thanks,
Chappy P!

No real loss there. I played it for a while but it was much more frusturation than fun. Lots of dieing for no apparent reason. Lots of air strike spam killing you after you've managed to sneek past enemies. Vehicles dominate much of the game...still. The only real fun part is trying to get badges and the thrill of acomplishment when you get a new unlock.

I've been playing The Witcher lately and I must say, its a lot of fun. It's a refreshing change to be put into an open eneded RPG where there is no real sence of good and evil. There are just choices and consiquences. You can get involved with lots of different people (including intimently with lots of different women) and do lots of different things. There is political turmoil that you get caught up in and you have to choose which side to get in on (or work really hard to stay out of it). Game play is rather smooth, there are lots of places to go (but not so many that its overwhelming) lots of things to do. The combat system is simple but still fun. The level up system is also well done. So far I'm enjoying it quite a bit.

My other vices recently have been World of Warcraft (which I'm slowly weening myself off of) and Team Fortress 2.

Played a little more last night.
I agree entirely. You can do cool, sneaky moves to get to a 'Strategic Point' in the game, and from no-where bombs rain down from the sky.

Lame-ass. BF1942, with the 'Desert Combat Mod' was by far and away better.

Battlefield 2142 can be fun if you play on pistol/knife only servers and people actualy follow the rules. Other than that, there are many better games to be played.

Plus no wide-screen support. The ugly distorted graphics killed any chance I would ever buy it.

I hear that Uncharted is a really solid game.

As far as me I don't get to play much, but when I do I'm currently playing WoW and Mass Effect. Yes, I know most of you have already beat Mass Effect, but BioWare is the sex.
