Factions can change from week to week, so instead of trying
a different warcaster every week, I get to try out my altaholicism.
Typically I plan two lists. A 500 and a 750. Sometimes I bring
enough to bring 1k, but I haven't gotten used to that gameplay
yet.
Global Effect: Signs of Skorak : Roll 1d6 at the beginning of the first player's turn each round. On a roll of 1-3, each warcaster/warlock may upkeep one spell in play without spending a focus or fury point. On a roll of 4-6, each warcaster/warlock must spend two focus or fury points to upkeep each spell in play.
Bounty
Brawler : This week, a Protectorate of Menoth player scores one (1) additional League Point if he disables or destroys an enemy warjack, warbeast, or solo with a power attack.
My scenario encourages warjack play, so I'm thinking the
Flame Priestess herself is going to make an appearance,
along with the Avatar.
That with +25 points of mercs should make for a fine time.
Feora has a nice spell that isn't upkeep (Engines of Destruction),
and some fun interactions with warjacks (Blazing Effigy).
Even if I have to spend 2 focus to upkeep a spell, I don't
think it will break my focus usage.
Strategic Advantage
Treasury Surplus : This week, a Protectorate of Menoth player's army may exceed the point value of the game by 25 points if the army contains 25 or more points of mercenaries/minions.
My options here are Gorman, Hawke, Eiryss. Even though it's
perfectly acceptable to switch armies up in between games, I'll
go with Gorman for versatility.
So 500 points
