I had a question. With the new Ork codex, the Big Mek is allowed to take both mega armor and the shokk attack gun which is and Ordnance 1 weapon. I think that everyone would agree that he can move and fire the shokk attack gun if he is in mega armor which gives him the slow and purposeful rule.

Now, what if he is in an open topped vehicle while wearing mega armor. The slow and purposeful rule (I believe) says that they ALWAYS count as stationary when firing. So if he is in an open topped vehicle and it moves 25", say a trukk or somthing, can he fire the shokk attack gun since he ALWAYS counts as stationary. I dont see a clause that says unless they are in a vehicle. What do you think?

Moving up 12" in a Fast vehicle (13" with Red paint)-I would think he gets to plug away with it (rule is passengers count as having moved, but that has no impact on him).

Moving over that-doesn't the rule change to a blanket restriction against the vehicle/passengers being able to fire? I would have to re-read that passage, but the wording may be different enough to firmly prevent it.

i believe that it would go like this...

moving by him self, all slow and purposeful like he can shoot as normal.

in a vehicle, it can move up to its maximum distance that allows it to fire and he still can due to his rule.

if the vehicle moves over 12"(or 13") the universal rule for vehicles moving fast override his slow and purposeful and barrs him from firing.

hmm, I believe you are right as he would then be barred from firing due to vehicle movement rather than from moving with ord 1 wpn. Thanks

FYI, you can't take mega armour and a SAG anyway. They each replace the slugga, so you must choose one.

That's true. You can select either Mega Armour or a Shokk Attack Gun from a list including the Kustom Force Field and a Warbike, but you can't have both.
