One of my favourite comics of all time is "The Deff Squadron". It's up there with "Fun Home", "Maus", and the entire run of "Preacher". It's like "The Rifle Brigade" but with Orks.

I think GW should shanghai the writer and the penciler and make them write more Orky adventures, if not of the Famed Deff Squadron, then of some other notable band of Orks fighting for Gork, Warlord, and the Sheer Hell of It.

A bizarre array of focusing mirrors and lenses turning my phrases into even more accurate clones of

You forgot the Slut Patrol, origin of this fun strip:

While Slut Patrol had its moments I think, like many people, it basically misses the point of Orks (and sods up their language to boot). The Deff Squadron, on the other hand, got the language and the characterization just right.

It's obvious from your other choices that you have pretty good taste in comics, Nurglitch. It's not clear to me what you see in Deff Skwadron, though. It's reasonably funny, but the art is rather... impenetrable.

That sounds like a recommendation to me.
