I play both Fantasy and 40k but mostly fantasy. I am more into painting and customizing my models to be characters from stories I write and I get inspiration from battles to write more stories but going for my MBA I really don't have time for stories anymore so I just play when I have time. I mostly play at my local game store or my boy friends place or his friends place. I am looking to be more competitive. I did attend tournaments sometimes but I really didn't enjoy it so much at the time was too much into the fluff and I have this problem that I get tired and have a headache by my 2nd or 3rd game.

My boyfriend introduced me to Warhammer and Warhammer Fantasy. I started with Warhammer Fantasy and high elves since I love dragons and mythical creatures. Back then they had Unicorns as well as dragons and Gryffons and those were a major draw as well as Alarielle and her Maiden guard. I eventually branched out to Wood elves as High elves weren't all that good in competitive environments that my boyfriend liked to play in. I started 40k later with Eldar since I like elves and psychic powers are cool. Started bugs later for something different and more competitive and they are less thinking. In the few tournaments I attended I have this problem I do horrible in my 3rd game always because I get a headache and get tired so simple army like Tyranids works better for that. Recently started Empire because of Karl Franz on the Dragon and the opportunity to mod a new dragon as well as the ability to field cannons because everyone cries cheese when elves have dogs of war cannons.

Heard this site was a good community of competitive people from a guy at my local shop. I just started looking at internet Warhammer sites recently as I took a break from playing but my boyfriend is pretty heavy into it so I go and play at the local game shop when he does. Looking to be a bit more competitive then I used to be.

I also post on asur.org since I play high elves in fantasy mostly although I starting to like Empire.
