I can tell you right away, you'll get much better mileage out of mobs of Shoota boys. The extra shots you get on the way in are priceless when your stuck footslogging it.

i like more assault slugga&choppa boyz, and when 5th comes out they are better than now, is that right?

when 5th comes out, are slugga&choppa boyz better than shootaboyz, now shootaboyz are better i think.

Ork Boyz are normally formed into huge mobs and armed for close combat with hefty choppas and Ork pistols known as sluggas. Orks armed with shootas tend to spend more time trying to make more noise then their neighbour instead of aiming. This plastic kit provides enough components to assemble 10 Ork models.

im worrying about can i make 10 shootaboyz/slugga&choppa using that box of 10 orks?

anyone bought them yet?

The "10" ork box.

contains 10 bases. you can make 10slugga boyz or 10 shoota boyz. you can obviously make a mixture of the 2. The box also contain parts for a nob with pk, a rokkit and a heavy shoota, but these would replace the slugga or shoota boyz.

the sprue has 11 legs and lots of boddies, arms, heads etc.

The box actually has 12 bases, so you can make that Nob or heavy weapons trooper with the extra legs as well as the 10 Boys w/ Shootas or Slugga/choppa. Can't do 12 though; only 11 torsos/11 legs

Its a wicked box actually, i was pissed about the low number of boyz in it at first but i picked one up yesterday and its great. Its got two sprues for the boyz that look like a condensed version of the old ones and the nob/special weapon sprue with loads of extras. A+ IMO.

Seems effective, i dont see any problem armies really. A little vanilla for my taste but itll get the job done.

They look like a shooting gallery. Still, that's pretty traditional and no one could accuse you of having a beardy or cheesy army.

when 5th rules comes out, is my army more effective assault army then?

its simple to build 1500 points army, just 60 orks more

now, 111 orks, then 171 orks, shooting gallery to my opponent, space wolfs.

someone said sw is my worst matchup, is it right?

my other opponent are nids.

thx

do you agree that sluggaboyz are better in 5th edition than 4th edition?

If the leaked rules hold true, I would generally take giant mobs of Sluggas over Shootas, but honestly you could mix a few in an army and do fine.

In 5th edition (again if the rumors hold true) giant blocks of infantry are going to be what capture objectives and therefore are the lynchpins to a succesful strategy. Huge fearless Ork mobs are a really great example of a unit that should do well in this climate.

So if you wanted to go that direction without waiting to see the finalized 5th edition rules you would just want to stock up on all the boyz you can get your hands on (forget the Trukks for the most part).
