So, say I bought a dragon mage, upgraded him to lvl 2 and gave him 50 pts of magic items ( 450 total points i think).
In the course of the game the mage dies but dragon lives on with no damage. How many points would you award your oponent?

None? - for he didnt do half the wounds of the model (total woulds = 7, 2 for mage, 5 for dragon)
The theoretical cost of the mage? (450 - the cost of a sun dragon for a lord lvl char)
Other?

Subtract the cost of the dragon and score it sepatately. The cost of the dragon is listed under a prince.

You score VPs for monsters and their riders separately in Warhammer.

The problem is, the Sun Dragon has two different points costs listed - one under the Prince, and one under the Archmage.

But here they state that the Sun Dragon should be treated as costing 250 pts.
