I've been wondering:
How do battlewagon mounted zzap guns work? Do they count as a defensive or main weapon? What happens when you roll an 11 or 12?

Also, it doesn't specify where weapons you buy for the battlewagon are mounted. Are the weapons mounted how you model them? If so, how should I count my big shootas? They're modelled as ork boyz standing on the back, armed with big shootas.

Weapons with a variable strength count as a defensive or main weapon depending on their strength when fired. So if you roll 6 or less then the Zzap is defensive and if you roll 7 or higher it is a main weapon.

Besides the Killacannon (which is specified as turret mounted) you are totally free to make your model any way you see fit. So if you want, you can most certainly use that ability to gain an in-game advantage.
