Nearly... I still have to varnish this guy. What I can say about the characteristics of the model it is nearly as dangerous as the 2nd ed Carnifex when thrwon. You should paint its parts seperate aaaand I love it. In the first game it already blew a Greater Demon back into the warp (I will never getting tired telling that story).

Looking very good, but then the model is so great that it would take a really awful paintjob to take away from it! Thanks for posting so many pictures of it, I had not seen some of the angles before. I'm so happy that they brought it back too.

the total lack of instructions don't help :( although maybe there might be an assembly guide for this and the trukk (which does have instructions, but painfully brief) in the Feb WD...

thanx for the pics, Symbio - so far they're the best assembly guide I've seen!

Um... okay maybe I should post a bit more about assembling and maybe some tips. Well were to start... first I got to say I had to clean this model longer than any other before but this maybe change from mold to mold. I went through my trash to find the box with the assembly instructions to see what the problem is (no I did not give it a look before). And what could I say ... far away from optimal. I glued together the mekbody the SAG and the arm with the hand. To second guess I better left the SAG before painting, but it came out well. The head the snotling and the tube I painted seperate. And this is my advice no matter what you do do not glue the tube like in the instruction manual on the box! You may need to do some green stuff or cutting work here to make it fit. Also it is easier to paint the snotling feet. You also may have to fill some gaps between the body and the head leads.

At last some assembly tips for people who do not have a drill and some iron brad ready. It helps to use water to make super glue ... glue faster. It also helps to clean the metal parts with water and soap. What I o instead is breathing slowly at the parts I want to glue. This is the alternative of using water. Ad you may need patience. I often put metal figs together just to see them fall apart after a few seconds.

My english is not the best but I hope I could help you with these comments/tips.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

My only criticism is that you need to either cut a small hole for the grots scening base, or add a piece of card to the base with a hole in ot for the grot.

Then not flock over the grots claw marks.

Allowing for how good a job you have done with the paintjob, I would be inclined to rebase.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

I think I'd like to see either some variation in the metals or the addition of some slapped on paint to help break up the monotoned look of the weapon itself. As it stands now it feels 'unfinished'. Maybe putting more of the brass color into it could be an easy fix.

The model looks good though. The metals are nicely done, as are the other details. Just break up the big block of metal a bit.

hahah! yeah I don't think you got a miscast. mine was pretty frustrating too, especially since my last good bit for my pin vise broke halfway through assembling this guy.
