... I'm Kriszilla, I've been a fan of GW games and miniature wargaming in general since I was quite young, which wasn't all that long ago really. I really like a lot of the fluff that's been built up over the years for 40k and I am currently toying with a few ideas for stories I might write at some point. However I've only recently gotten back 'into' GW stuff, having lost interest for quite some time.

As for my current armies... well, I have none

That's because I cleared out most of my old stuff to make room for new stuff, so all my old LOTR minis, my old WHFB Greenskins, and my old 'Nids.

But they all got thrown out so I could really get started on a project I began almost a year ago: Waagh! Toofsnik.

However, before I can start the project up again I need to scrape together some money for the new Orks Codex. And I need to check they haven't upgraded to the new edition of 40k while I was gone

So hello all, and if you have any advice on what would be good to put in my WIP Orks army I would appreciate it.

Welcome to dakka! You'll find plenty of advice in our 40k tactics forums for army choices. Sometimes having a fresh start can be much better than getting back into it with all your old models as there is a lot less stuff waiting to be painted. I hope you'll share some of your fiction with us if you start writing it too!

Well I just posted the first part of my new Ork army's fluff. I'm kinda' making it up as I go along, but it's always worked for me in the past so why break the habit of a lifetime?

Your fiction has good flow and is easy to read so it is a good job and I look forward to seeing more. Dont get discouraged if you dont get much (or any) feedback about your fiction as the users who tend to read our fiction section are usually ones who do not like to comment very often.
