The basic principle behind the army is to run forward. There's 9 large targets.... so anti-tank weapons should be spread thin. What do you think, could it be viable?

Could be. Why not meltaguns on your marines so they can support the units going into combat? i.e. power fist stifling?

If you're going to do this, I would drop:
1 squad of marines (105pts)
1 marine from 4 of the 5 the remaining squads (60pts)
Swap all of the plasmaguns to meltaguns (25pts)
== 190pts

buy 5 chaos rhinos for the rest of the guys - 175pts
buy yourself something nice.

While normally I'd discount rhinos, 175pts for a mobile wall that has to be killed to get to your dreadnoughts, and provides 4+ cover saves for them otherwise, is going to be pure gold.

In fact, a wall of Rhinos could shield your Marines and the advancing MCs.

Marines yes, MC's not really.

I likes it. rhino's would be better... anyway... If I had the models, i'd use 'em.
