While waiting for the Daemon Codex, I have some chaos models lying around, including 6 bikers plus a biker lord. Is there any way to use them in a vaguely competitive chaos list, and if so, how?

I know there was some rumblings when the new book came out of using bikes with an Icon as a method for delivering Oblits and/or termies. Has anyone had success with this? Any other thoughts on chaos bikers?

I've tried it, and to be honest it's a hard one to pull off due to the randomness of when reserves turn up.

But m basic attempts have been to use bikes on one flank, turbo boost them, then on turn two bring in demons, oblits and termi's you can use the demons to stop ou being charged, and the oblits to target enem armour and the termi's for all round use.

The onl problem is that m strike force was around 50 points minimum, and in 1500 thats a lot of luck reserve roles!

As of now it's really too random to give you any proper advice. But I have a friend who plays with two 3 man tzeench biker squads with AC. As stated he zooms foward to drop off daemons, greater daemon, and termies.
He does reasonably well in non escalation missions. That said escalation makes the whole gimmick a crapshoot.
If only daemons could re-roll there reserves or something.

In 5th ed they doing away with escalation so the whole idea might resurface. Of course in the ed you'll use nurgal bikers instead.

All out of witty one-liners.
