I'm really tempted (again) by it. Looks like it would be great for creating some skirmish n40k games here which seems the best I'm likely to get.

But I would like to hear if anyone has tried them? The other option is the cardboard tiles WoC is making for SW minis.

You may want to consider Hirst Arts molds http://www.hirstarts.com/ if you got time to pour and cast some plaster. They have some nice sci fi molds available. I've been meaning to pick some up myself for a while now but I'd probably never use them so I've been stalling.

I recently bought some components of Litko's Space Corridor System for a board game I'm developing, so that players can play on different sized boards. But I'm so impressed with the fit of the pieces that I'm buying a full master set or two when I can fit it into my budget. I've also purchased some of their token products, particularly the radar blip ones, and their service and quality keeps encouraging me to buy more.

The connections aren't too weak? They seemed kinda thin
in the pictures.

Nope, they're pretty solid. 3mm of plywood is surprisingly strong. I'm out of town at the moment, but when I get back I can take some pictures if you'd like.
