The campaign at my local hobby shop thats been started is essentially a long winded escalation tourney in which campaign effects come into play (i.e. units gain experience etc.). Starting points cost is 500 points and every month it jumps 500 points and finally rounds off at 1750 (500, 1000, 1500, 1750.) The list I have compiled is mainly to remain flexible in any direction. As a side note in the 500 point game the only prerequisite is 1 troop choice.

1x raider squad 6x warriors 1x sybarite /w agonizer
Raider
Dark Lance, Horrorfex, Trophy rack.

Elite
----------
1x Wyche Squad 9x wyches 1x Succubus /w Agonizer, wyche weapons, plasma grenades
Raider
Disintegrator, Horrorfex, Trophy rack

Ive been playtesting this list through 6 games now, and it has performed solidly in all games generally wiping my opponent as I can take advantage of pinning even against a unit of 14 ork boys if I get a good shot in. My main question for people would be if you were to stay away from WWP tactics how would you expand on this list for the following months of the campaign?

The ork codex reads that a mob of orcs has a leadership equal to the amount of orcs in the mob. Once their LEADERSHIP is above 10 they are fearless. So said orc unit is at leadership 14 do to their mob of 14 boys, with a good shot I can possibly get 6 boys bringing their LEADERSHIP down to 8 and thus they are not above leadership 10 making them quite non fearless.

AbV, I'm afraid you've misread the codex. "If an Ork Mob numbers 11 or more models, it has the Fearless special rule." When a unit is Fearless its LD is irrelevant. It’s not possible to pin or break them, even if the horrorfex reduces their LD.

Now, if you KILL six boyz, then they’re down to LD8, and the horrorfex is going to be nasty.

I like your list. If you're not going to go WWP, I think you need to take a fair amount of infantry. Warriors with dual Darklances per squad to shoot and contribute to the game even when your Raiders are being shot down.

Obviously you need to take out enemy heavy weapons ASAP to reduce the number of things that can drop your Raiders and Ravagers from across the table. DE are great at killing most vehicles, but you might consider a squad of jetbikes to charge and tie up enemy devastator/havoc/other shooty infantry units.

Note to Stelek- I think a post like the above might have been more helpful.

ah, my mistake than I suppose wishful thinking superseded reason. In terms of the bikes how large of a squad would you field, and what gear would you throw in there? And yes I intend on taking at least one more 10 man squad and giving both warrior squads 2x DL's so I can shell out some AT punch.

I wouldn't field bikes in 500 points, as their cost really cuts down on your model count without really adding anything to your resiliency.

One of the more obnoxious things you can do at 500 points is taking a Talos. At that points level, most armies don't have an answer for the T7 MC. Heck, at their low points cost, take 2...

unfortunatley the campaign has started and thus WYSIWYG in terms of my 500 point list as ive already submitted my list. So in later games how many bikes would you?

Also as a quick side note the DE Talos is listed as a skimmer in the heavy section, but has wounds, so for movement purposes does it have a maximum move of 6" or 12" and where can I print off or find this answer? TY
