So after doing some cleaning around the place, I discovered a box of Eldar that was thought lost some time ago.
I may be interested in reviving the army, but Im not that familiar with the newer codex. If anyone wants to post some suggestions or
roll up some list ideas, Id be appreciative.

Box Contents:
Avatar, Asurmen, Jain Zar, Karandras, Yriel, Winged Autarch, 3x Farseers(all witchblades and on foot), 6x Warlocks (3 spear/3witchblades and on foot), 6x striking scorpions, 10x wraithguard, 32 odd Guardian Defenders, 4-5 weapon platforms (and a mix of weapon choices), 8x Storm Guardians, 30 rangers, 5x Jetbikes, Vyper, 2x Wraithlords, Fire Prism, 7x Swooping Hawks, 7x Warp Spiders, and a mangled lot of old Dark Reapers.

Ive always liked the army, but I bet Im still missing some key elements like wave serpents, and aspect warriors of the banshee/dragon/avenger kind. Any help/suggestions would be awesome!
Thanks!

Just as an aside thought.
I was shooting to start at the 750pt to 1000pt mark, and then slowly paint/add on up to 1500pt and so on.

Thanks again!

You should be able to make a good 750 list with what you have.

The Reapers are a great gun base as well as the Prism. Guardians or a Wraithlord can be given a bright lance for tank popping ability.

I don't think Jetbikes will serve you well with the models you have and you should go with guardians (defenders). If you get a Wraithlord, you can give the guardians Scatter Lasers to build up your fire base even more.

With such a strong fire base, I would just add a counter assault element or two in the form of the Avatar and/or the Scorpions with an Exarch (can use Karandras if you don't have one). I would also recommend a cheap farseer HQ with guide to make your fire base very strong.

Well that's a nice find!

An advancing infantry firebase would work well with the minis you have.

Both Wraithlords (add a second gun if they're older) and the Prism will make a good start. The Reapers are too immobile for an advancing firebase, unfortunately.

Add 3+ guardian defender units (10 with scatterlaser platforms) for troops. Brightlances and EMLs should go on the Wraithlords, whose BS4 will help. I disagree with LiMunPai, and think jetbikes are a good addition at your higher point-levels. You need more firepower to max out your shooting, but also more mobility. Units of 3 with shuricannon are good. Two of these (requiring you to buy one more bike, but a good investment) will really up your ability to take out other shooting armies (IG gunline, Tau, etc.).

Pathfinders (at least one unit) will help at higher levels too.

For HQ, the Avatar and Eldrad (proxy with a Farseer if necessary) will hold and enhance your Guardians nicely. Eldrad can protect your big guys from counterfire while enhancing their ability to dish out pain.

A single countercharge CC squad (Scorpions are probably best) will be useful for your larger games, but 2X Wraithlord, the Avatar and plenty of fearless Guardians should do fine for lower-point games. Fill out your firepower and leadership roles first, then add the trimmin's later.

Hope that helps.

Well I kind of moved near Toronto, actually.

you should be able to do 1500 easy.

30 Pathfinders is a great place to start.

Do you have any Exarchs for all those Aspects? You can use Karandaras for a Scorpion Exarch and your Autarch for the Hawks.

To answer Savnock, yes, I do have aspects for all mentioned aspects, and I did actually just come across Eldrad himself.
I think the toughest decision at this points isnt so much what to put in the army, but what craftworld to paint them!
color schemes are always tough. I almost have enough figures to go with an Iyanden theme, but I just painted Bad Moon orks, so yellow is out, lol.
I like Biel Tann, but I just started painting my Tau red fatigues/white armor (like the cities of death cover).

It's kind of a shame they did away with the seer council with the new codex, that was a pretty pretty good unit.
So, how's this:

750pts-
Farseer w/Guide
Striking Scorpions x6 w/ Exarch (Scorpions Claw), Stalker
Guardians x10 w/ Scatter Laser
Guardians x10 w/Scatter Laser
Guardian Jetbikes x3
Swooping Hawks x7 w/Exarch (Sun Rifle)
Fire Prism

Im not sure about including the Guardian Jetbikes, but without them I still have about 73pts to play with, and wasnt real sure what else to throw in. Figured they could fly around and
try to keep the heat off the Fire Prism or something. Any thoughts?

Thanks also for your comments!

Posted advice on your (well chosen) list on it's separate thread.

Altaioc is fun to paint, and you do have 30 rangers...
