Hello all,
Comments and criticism are more than welcome. Remember this is a work in progress.

This is my first big conversion work as an ork player. I plan to use this as a battlewagon with a killcannon (and possibly some other guns as well) with a unit of lootas using it as a mostly non-mobile armored firebase. I got this Leman Russ at a very reasonable price and decided to make it open-topped by adding a platform running around the tank. The platform is supported by guy wires on two sides and some supports on the third. I started adding rivets to some of the plasticard plates but I'm far from finished.

First, what does everyone think? Second, how can this be improved? No need to pull punches, this is a pretty amateur piece.

looks nice, but more like a looted rhino that the orks couldnt get open than a battlewagon

I dunno. altough the platforms do look orky, I don't really like them. I think it would look much better if they were build somwhere higher.

The expression let's make it orky! from the Dawn of War games comes to mind.
I like how it looks, but I can see why people might consider the platform a bit too low,
you'd have problems driving it in terrain with more than just the occational rocks.

That aside, the concept is pure orky brilliance! Now slap a red paint'job on it and hit the
table!
