okay I play the T'au as part of an escallation league. I'm also quite new at the Warhammer 40k game. My current list is the following:
10 firewarriors with one Shas'ui veteren equipped with a marker light and two pulse carbines
1 Devilfish with Mulit-tracker, 1 Seeker Missile, and a smart missle system (Gun Drones have been removed)
Does anyone have some usefull strategies for this army list? So far I've lost 3 out of 3 games.
I'm looking for strategies primarily against Eldar, and Orks, at the time being.

Unfortunately at such a low point cost game theres not much you can do against a horde army like orcs who have some ridiculously cheap boyz. My only suggestion would be to take as many firewarriors as possible and pray for good dice roles/avoid combat. Depending on what theyre fielding, if the have no means of dealing with it a big nasty expensive model might be your ticket.

ya i'm up against a pretty tough list for orks at this low of a point cost. My next 245 points is going to be spent on my Crisis suited Shas'O with one body gaurd both with two shiled drones. the body gaurd will have a twinlinked plasma rifle and hardwired multi-tracker, while the commander himself will have a fusion blaster and a misslepod with a hardwired targeting array. I might still tweak that set up a bit but that's what i'm going for. Any suggestions?

It's always handy to maximize the number of units that you have available, which is pretty tricky at 250pts. Maybe take several units of Fire Warriors, six strong including a Shas'ui with a markerlight and photon grenades can turn a weak assault phase in your favour. On the other hand it might be fun to live dangerously and take:
Fire Warrior Team A
Five Shas'la (one Pulse Carbine)
One Shas'ui with Markerlight, Bonding Knife
85
Fire Warrior Team B
Five Shas'la (one Pulse Carbine)
One Shas'ui with Bonding Knife
75
Stealth Team
Three Shas'ui
90
Switch Stealth Team for Fire Warrior Team C
Five Shas'la (one Pulse Carbine)
One Shas'ui with Markerlight, Bonding Knife, Hard-Wired Target Lock
90

hmm, seems interesting. I will definately take that into consideration once I get some more models. The thing is I'm going for more of a "Fish of Fury" strategy, which obviously focuses heavily on the T'au vehicles, I eventually want as much of a mounted force as possible.
