Been Around the Block

Been having trouble finding an ogre list that works(amoungst a very competitive magic heavy group), and would like to avoid the cookie cutter list if possible. So I thought I might try Skrag. Anyone out there have any experience playing with/against him?

This is the list I was thinking of:

Skrag
3 butchers, skullmantle plus a scroll or two
one niced sized block of bulls(~6) with extra hand weapons (just so that one unit of bulls I have to take is not useless)
6 blocks of 3 ironguts
2-3 gorgers (special choice)
2-3 maneaters or possibly yehtees

Will I get booed at for too much magic/special charaters? Any other thoughts?

Don't rank the bulls, split them into two units. Don't give them any upgrade other than musicians. Bulls are not for fighting, don't expect them to kill anything. They are only for baiting charges and fleeing. If you're having trouble against magic, take a tyrant and give him two thiefstones and stick him with the maneaters. That will give you a unit that is immune to psychology, stubborn 8 rerollable, and magic resistance 2. This isn't cheesy, this is a standard msu ogre list. I guess you can call it cheesy if cheesy means taking the only list type that your army can win with against competent players. Good luck.

Yeah have you seen my friend's (former thanks for WD) 14 PD Tzeentch army? This much magic is overkill anyway for ogres and is not cheesy at all.
