Tactical Squad: 5/10/15/20 Marines. For every 10 Marines the Tac squad may have 1 special weapon. For every 10 they may have 1 heavy weapon. A tac squad may be split into 2 combat squads. May be given a transport Rhino/Razorback. Armed with bolt pistol, ccw and bolter.

Would work well since you could put 10 men with 2 specials in a Rhino with either a remainder 5-man squad with a heavy or 10 men with 2 heavies. For a Razorback you could have 5 guys with 2 specials inside and 15 footsloggers outside with 2 heavy weapons.

Devastator Squad: 5/10 Marines. The squad may be given 4 special or heavy weapons. A squad may be split into 2 combat squads. May be given a transport Rhino/Razorback. Armed with bolt pistol, ccw and bolter.

You could see something like 5 marines with 2 specials in a Razorback and a 5-man team with 2 heavy weapons.

What do you think? In 5e you would just have to juggle the KP values. Maybe make a 20-man squad worth double the KP? A bit like the issue with the IG troop choices.
