I have recently become interested in making a new army...but am unable to decide which...!
I have considered taking footslogging orcs, but am discouraged by the amount of painting involved...
I currently own Mech Tau, Black Templar, and Hybrid Tyranid...
I would like to start out at about 500-750 pts...
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreachieated...

Thanks Aristole...from what i've heard DA are really weak...I don't want to start an army that just can't win...!
As for Chaos...I don't know...but I just don't like them...something makes me not want to invest into them...I will give it more thought though...
I tried warhammer but I just don't like it as much as 40k...

Perhaps try a hybrid inquisitorial force? Either SOB or GK, perhaps with Imperial Guard backup? They are fun, heaps of different combinations, and if you play GK's or SOB mainly, they are quick to paint (and not many models either). And GK's could actually be cool with Codexaemons coming out.

Mechdar, easy to play, easy to win, and piss anyone you play off.

MechEldar? I would wait until the 5th ed comes out. Skimmers get nerfed. Then MechEldar will not be the same.
Which Hunters with some Ladies is a nice army. Rhinos will be better in the 5th ed. Then you can play Sisters in a drive-by style.
