Savage 2 (for PC) is different. You will need internet to play it though and you can DL it and play it with friends for free in a LAN or at the office like I do. At lunch of course.

If you are talking original Xbox I really enjoyed SSX Tricky and SSX3.

Both are very relaxing and fun snow boarding games.

Lego Star Wars is also great fun.

If you've got a 360, just check out x-box live arcade. There are literally dozens of great, non-violent casual games on that system, and all have free demos.

What sort of games are you into?
If you're an RPG fan, I heartily recommend either Okami, Dragon Quest VIII or Rogue Galaxy. They are some of the best console RPGs I've played for a while.
