Spawn of Chaos

Okay,I have an upcoming battle against some Brettonians with my HoC.It'll be a 1000P battle and I have no idea what I'm gonna do :S.
I've never versed Brettonians before and my standard 1000p list will get trampled underneath the hooves of the Brett's large amount of horses.
Anyone can help? I have no idea what units to field.
Thanks

Couple of things: You can wield many cheap diverter units to get some charges in and avoid the worst of the lances and you have the option to wield some decent anvil units too which can actually take a charge especially if bsb is nearby (from 1 lance anyways). Warhounds and marauder horsemen make great diverters/flankers and chosen knights make good anvil for example.

Is it worth squeezing in the Great Fang on a character? Generally Gaze of the Gods and other survival items would be better I'd think, but the Fang powers right through those bret tin cans.

Basically, as Chaoslord said, the only advantage you have is cheep fast guys. Warhounds and marauder fast cav.
Use them to divert charges or setup charges for your knights.
If you put them 12 or so inches in front of your knights the chances are the brets will kill them on the charge but not overrun into you and the next turn you can counter charge them. Forcing them to run past your knights to a flank charge position also works wonders.
Flails on all your characters, str 7 rocks.

Yeah, I would LOVE to have me some warhound style units to angle away some lances (or at least make things tough on him).
If you can get a spawn into the flank of a lance, it can have a shot at obnoxiously holding them up for a couple turns until some assistance can arrive. It's all about finding ways for your good units to get a charge in (or survive a charge in the first place). Brets can be pretty weak sauce once they've broken those lances.

Alright,I'm leaning towards this list,CaC welcome.
Exalted champion of chaos-Whip of Pleasure,Steed of Slaanesh:214Points
10xChaos Warhounds
17XChaos Warriors: Standard,Musician,Champion,War banner.
Fiend of Slaanesh:Mark of Slaanesh.
5xChosen Chaos Knights of Slaanesh:Champion,Musician,Standard,Rapturous Standard.
Total:1000Points
Alright, basically I plan to use the large unit of Warriors as an anvil to take on Knight units so that my Warhounds/Knights can flank the unit.
My spawn will be for taking out any infantry and perhaps for holding off a unit of Knights if he can do it.I'll be using my Exalted champ for Infantry and Knight flanking/hunting.
So all in all my plan revolves around flanking as many units of Knights as I can and just trying to get them off the field. The Warriors should hold, especiallt because of the +1 combat resolution from their War Banner. The Knights might be able to anvil some stuff as well due to the Chosen armour and the Raptuous Standard.
Thanks,Thesoddit

Word of warning,
Spawns will not kill entire infantry blocks. They will die first. They should be used to charge lances and pin them in place for a couple turns.
Warriors will not hold vs most lance charges, espically the double lance charge they will inevitably receive.
War hounds that flank 9 man lances usually lose and run.
If you really want to use the warriors as an anvil switch the two banners.
