Hey all...

I was wondering what types of conversions are done to represent Big Uns for Boar Boyz. I have a plastic Boar Rider model that I acquired in a large lot of models (mostly Skull Pass) and he is very nice sized compared to the tiny metal Orcs. I'd like to find about 5-10 more of him. He is currently a Big Boss... due to his size... but I'd spiff up another one to be the Big Boss and make him take a lesser role.

Clues to where I can find more of the plastic Orc Boar Boy?

Pretty sure what you have is the mounted legs that come with the orc boyz command sprue, with any plastic orc body / arms / head / pig you like. Is it a HUGE pig? Then you might have the warboss on pig bits.

But I think the mounted legs would be your best bet for plastic boar boys. Amazingly, it never occured to me that this is a viable way to make boar riders :S

Also note that The War Store does NOT have the riding legs in the bitz store.

I have the big Warboss as well... he has the large and ornery boar.

The Orc Boyz command sprue bit is probably what i have. I acquired two full sets of Skull Pass Night Goblins, Trolls and about 40 Orc Boyz / Arrer Boyz already assembled (and primed in a hideous light green)... I've since added many pieces, but never purchased any 'basic' Orc Boyz. Now I just need to track down some command sprues.

Yeah... I was looking to build my own and use my existing five metal Boar Boyz as a smaller unit.

It's a bit expensive, but my friend used some bits from Gorbad Ironclaw as his Savage Warboss on a boar. His boar is bigger then the rest. The warboss's personal retinue of savage orc boar boys are the plastic warboss heavily converted with arms from the plastic black orcs, as well as tons of small bits from various kits. The warboss boar is bigger, as well as the riders so you can tell they are big uns or something else thats nasty. I would use green stuff to make some more unique tusks for each boar though.
