This is the army that I'm going to take to the colonial. I still need to finish up one steam tank, one knight, and the BSB. Then make a display board and I'm done.

That is an awesome little army!

Popemobile
BSB
2 caddies
3 Knights
3 Great Cannons
2 Stanks

But I think your opponents may hate you for bringing it...

Still, the paint job is very crisp-looking, with good color choices.

Ed: have you ever painted an army that ISN'T blue? I mean, you must really like that color...

Nice looking army man. You should be proud of it. Kudos.

(and kudos for making a Empire FB army of 36 figs. Man!)

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

how many points are you playing with 3 steam tanks?

As I see it, it's "only" 2 Steam Tanks - one of them counts as a popemobile.

It's 2250:

Walter
bsb
2 lvl 2's
17 knights
4 cannons
2 steamtanks

Normally I would not take a bsb, but the colonial's battle scoring makes it highly attractive.

Solid looking little army, great work on it. Thanks for posting up the army shots for us.

Having not been real intimate with the Empire book, who is Walter? Popemobile character? Or an affectionate name for an archlector on altar?

Nob- Urgh...ok, I got a 6
SM- Oops, looks like I got an 8, so I go first
Nob- You got a 8 on a 6 sided die?
SM- Um, yep.
Nob- Space marines.....

Ah. So. Thanks for that.

Which would be my #2 guess above

Ya beat me to it, Syr...I was going to ask if this was the army of the Elector Count of Macragge. All joking aside, this is a really cohesive and sharply painted army. Nice job!

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

Blue with the pegasus is the TFG club colors, so I intentionally painted the army to match. At one point 10 of use were going to field this at once.
