Game Empire Pasadena is holding another 40K RTT on Saturday March 8th. Registration begins at 10am and round 1 should start, no later than, 11am. The RTT will be 2000 points and have 2 1/2 hour rounds. $10 entry fee. January's RTT had more than 20 players, let's make this have more than 30 players.

I am looking for; Unseth, Cypher, Frenrik, Phoenix, Alpharius walks, Smart_Alex, Mortetvie, Green Blow Fly and yes, even Yakface himself to show up and make this another great Dakka-fest.

There's just no way this time Darrian. I am seriously chained to my desk painting for Adepticon.

I think by law any time spent away from my desk has to be allocated to my girlfriend since she's been stuck with some guy who just sits around an paints all weekend for the last month.

I feel soooo left out of that list :(

I don't think I'll make it to this one, there is a fantasy tournament at the bunker for 2k points and besides, they are having some kind of points auction and I have points to use for it =). I'm not a math major but... Free stuff+cheaper gas bill>not free stuff and expensive gas bill.

Damn! Adam/Mortetvie, you will be missed. You have definitely become my favorite local opponent. I love the challenge.

I am not "trying" to imply anything. I am writing that Adam's army design and playstyle are very original and I find it a very interesting challenge.

Cypher, our games are very challenging, but I know what you are going to bring and do in a game. The challenge is in trying to stop you.

What can I say, I just put together things that I think could work in a list and hope I was right in assuming they work. I don't think I've played the same EXACT list twice, ever =/.

Burbank airport is the closest major(ish) airport to Pasadena.

Burbank is the closest as Yakface said, but it is hard to get flights in and out of there.

Then LAX is pretty close, and offers the best choices of flights. Depending on what time you come in LAX can be brutal because of the traffic, but they have a bus called "The Flyaway" that for a few bucks will take you to Downtown LA which is very close to Pasadena.

Then Long Beach is not too bad but they only serve Jet Blue.

Then the last two airports are Ontario and John Wayne and they are a bit far.

ARGH!! Wish I could go. My roomate is getting married in Vegas that day. Personally I rather play some 40k than go to a wedding but I already said Id be there. So hopping on the Ork bandwagon are we? lol, glad I started them a year and a half ago. Now I have even more models to paint. Over 200 models. I will drown you all in a sea of green fury.

also, are there any other Rtt's around in March?

Still waiting to hear back from D13 for the party hook-up.

Yo I just checked all the major airlines I fly and I hate to say it but it just costs too much. I think I can make a trip later and save a tonne of $$$ if I reserve my flight well in advance. D13 or LM if either of you know the dates for RTTs in Pasadena scheduled for 2008 shoot me a PM and I will work on making it out there sometime after Adepticon. I would like to meet Yakface when I come out west so it is just as well that I wait a bit longer.
