I've looked through the rulebook and SM codex but haven't found anything to answer this question. So hoping the good people of dakka will help

A Space Marine attack bike has two wounds on his profile, lets assume that a lone attack bike gets shot and loses one wound only, what happens to the bike?

(A) takes a wound as normal with no effects to the models abilities until he loses his last wound (and therefore is removed as a casualty)
(B) takes a wound as normal and loses the ability to shoot the sidecar weapon (two wounds, two models on bike)

Losing a wound on a multi wound model has no effect what so ever on their abilities, so A. That's why nid zilla is such a powerful list, you got to remove every wound from a carnafix to actualy affect how it functions.

Yep, don't mistake the rules mechanics of the game for real life effects.

Hmm, this all reminds me of the old Inv save discussions I have had in wich people wanted there to be a difference between a fluff dodge inv save and a fluff termie armour inv save.

Damn that was an anoying discussion.
