Would you be fine with someone using Therians as DE? The models look much better and have a very DE-ish feel to them.

i agree, i play DE and those models are a lot nicer. The only problem i can see with them as warriors is you don't have 2 different heavy weapons models.

I think they would make good count as Warriors

They are indeed MOST tastey. Prepainted are they?
I would have no problem with you running those bad boys, but then I am cool with all manner of counts as and non-GW figs. Your mileage may vary.

Not a bad counts as choice. I've dug Therians since we first saw them, and schemed with using them as Necrons first and then Nids later (have a decent Zilla list worked up for the bigger models). Not 100% on the prepaint they've got, but that can be fixed.

Considering the ridiculous ugliness of DE Warriors, heck, if I was your opponent, I'd encourage you to use the Therians. I always wanted to make a DE army using the Confrontation Scorpions models. But since these are prepainted, all the easier for assembling the army!

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

the biggest question would be, are they the same scale as GW mini's?

Bigger question than scale is base size. Would you have to rebase them?

If more of us valued food and cheer and 40K over hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.

Scale - AT-43 works at a slightly bigger scale (30 mm?) A UNA soldier is taller than a space marine, and noticeably taller than an IG counterpart.

Base - Again, since the scale is a little wonky, the base is about 30mm. Usually, however, they're easy to remove. Regluing them to a GW base might require some pinning, as the plastic may not take well to superglue or PVC glue

cheers!

Better yet... use your Therians as _both_ DE and Necrons, depending upon your mood. If you're going to substitute, go hog wild. On the DE track, if you converted Raiders with a few of the larger Theian models chopped up and most of the fins rmoved from the Raider, that could work too.

Tangentially, Karmans will make nice Tau battlesuits.

And GW's scale is screwed anyways. I wish biggerizing Marines were easier.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!
