1/48 is about the right scale to match 28mm but 1/35 could work too.

These are ridiculously awesome little kits. I just wonder how much a pain they are to actually get good results with.

Okay, maybe I'm not fully grasping what it means to be "laser-cut", but how do they do the texture on the middle of those sunflowers?!

They use lasers.

But seriously - they can use lasers to texture the paper like that? Man, wait til the Imperium picks up this STC. Oh wait, they did. It's called an Imperial Guard lasgun.

So those are just paper? It might be fun to make them up, then drive a small remote control tank over them to get the proper "OMG MY DAISIES!" look

Those look great, but fiddly and expensive. Maybe for an army display diorama.
