hello not sure if this is the right spot for this sorry here goes.

Hello all long time 40k player and starting to get in too WHFB and i like two of the army chaos and lizard men and my question is which one would be a better starter army now i haven read there books or should a go with a one of the other army's ??? like undead etc. now my style of game play is very aggressive and my painting skill are good but no pro class. hope this help you guys thanks all

Lizards are a great starter army, will give you a MUCH better feel for the game than Chaos. Plays in all phases of the game, good at most everything, few if any weaknesses. Also dinosaurs.

agree with salvage, lizards were my first army in fantasy, great units, great magic, also really killy characters if combat is more of your forte.

cold blooded really lets you stay when you make those morale tests, saurus are some of the best blocked infantry in the game, 2 attacks base? oh yeah. matched with good saves i like them alot.

chaos is a different horse, i ran a friend of mines chaos army for a bit, and it really want that hot. im mean sure chosen knights hit hard, but they are few and costly.

i think lizards will be the best bet for starting, very user friendly.

If i could name one weakness, it would be the low WS.
Aside from that. Hell yeah, Dinosaurs!!
