I painted this guy a while ago, but I never posted him. Well, here he is.

If I were to do him again, I wouldn't use the same kind of wire for the lightning arc (it looks a little too tube-like I think) but otherwise, I think I did a nice job.

I think I have one more angle on him in my gallery.

Nice effort..... but lightsourcing a power fist like that just looks.... wrong.... to me. I'd say if you light source a fist again, make it look like lightning playing across the surface, and make the lightning the source.

Just my $0.02.

I think you did a nice job on the lightsourcing like that, but I think it's too big of an item for it to be an effective technique. I think the "light" on the head, torso, and tabard looks good, but that the fist itself looks odd.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

Yeah. I've identified the problem. The arc (white wire) should be the source of the light, and for the most part I was consistent with this. The trouble is the powerfist itself should be lit from behind (the fingers ought to lit differently).

Overall, I'm pleased with the job, and I know what I'll do differently next time.
