Well, in my tournament, I'm toying with either

3x Falcon w/ shuricannon, scatterlaser, holofield, stones, ve
filled with 2x 6 Fire Dragons and 1x 6 Harlies

or

2x Fire Prim w/ holofield, stones, ve
1x Falcon w/ shuricannon, scatterlaser, holofield, stones, ve
loaded with 1x 6 Harlies.
Additionally I will have 6 Fire Dragons in a Serpent.

What configuration would you prefer?

Do you want to hit hard and win for sure, or to hit moderately and keep people happy (or at least less likely to whine)? I believe you know which will do what...

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

Well, the Falcons will hit harder, especially, when they unload the cargo, Fire Dragons.

Yep. The Falcons are definitely the harder hitters, and the sure bet. But be prepared to deal with whiners if you field them. If the tourney has opponent-scored comp or sportsmanship scores, expect to get docked for bringing even 2 Falcons. I'm not saying not to do so (stompage is always a good reply to poor losers), but not to be surprised when you get low soft scores.

What's the rest of the list look like?

Yeah, the Falcons are better. Even with a holofield, rolling 2D6 on the glancing damage chart, there is a 25% chance of destroying a weapon. And this is bad for a Fire Prism.

The rest of the list. I guess this time 2 Dire Avenger squads in Serpents with eml's, stones, vect engines, and as an HQ a Doomseer on a jetbike.
