List is based on 12+ games against orks. I found that Nobs bike squad is hard as nails to kill, and if they die, it takes a lots of firepower.
I found lootas are killable in a single squad, but 2 or more units, it is just demoralizing to trying target at long range, buying time for bikes or wagons.
I found in most games I played against orks, that boys die too easy, and mobile armies can move away enough to take out a unit of 30 per turn, and still avoid being over run.
Trukk boys do better but not reliable enough, escalation kills them piece meal.

I considered dropping a battlewagona and adding 2 x 3 cannon battery (and upping lootas to 14 man or adding aack squigs to warbosses)

LD 7 is awful... Boss Pole? Or is it you're intent to put the Warboss's with them?

Take Wazdakka, then take ordinary bikes as troops.

However this theme means nothing if you also take loadas of lootas. Ask yourself do you want a bike horde or an infantry horde, dont mix and match, or you will be defeated in detail. Tie up units will assault the lootas while your fast moving assault units are tiedup elsewhere, or as likely shot. A more balanced list will eat this all too easily

I concidered wazdakka, and still might change up for next few test game, dropping to 2x15 unit lootas and using one of the nob bikes as elites.

During the dozen or so games, I ve not been detroyed by balanced lists, maybe my opponents aren't that great but so far very promising.

The lootas for most games have been left alone, and the bikes are HARD to kill. Its not lists alone but effective tactis, and so far, I let things like land raiders slide, and only going after them near the end if no other viable target exist.

The army runs lean on units, so I can deplay lootas spaces apart, so prevent assault pinball. Only thing so far put a hurt on them is a calidus assasin, which died prompty in out of assault.

I had my doubts about the weakness of the huge point sinks in the bikes, but the 4+save 5+save and 4+FNP really does stack to something fierce.

I have used this list against hoard foot orks, with KFF, and managed to stay out of CC the entire game.

But it would be cool to see what list you would put up aginst that would beat it with ease.

I'm sure you know Nob bikers aren't warbikes so they won't be troops with Wazz. Honestly he's more for a Speed Freaks list than this. Also I haven't double checked but is Ardcase on the BW that expensive? Your BW seem kinda pricey.

remember, everything str 8 or up instant kills with no feel no pain

so you're down to 5+ cybork saves for them...


interesting list idea... love the lootas... only game they have paid out for me is against necrons (did nothing against warriors)


what about using 2 units of lootas & 3 looted wagons - 2 with boom guns and ard case - 1 with big shootas carrying a unit of burna boyz


just a thought... boom guns are just a little better and you will learn to love the burna boyz

You will be anihilated. There was another list with all bikes. Full fast attack, the nob squads and warboss deal. You just have too few models.
